1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Verif Tools, including its website, account features, document and image generation tools, previews, downloads, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. What the Service provides

The Service provides tools that process user-provided information and images to create digital previews and generated files. The Service is provided for lawful, legitimate, and authorized creative, testing, design, educational, and business purposes only.

Generated content may contain errors, may not be suitable for a particular purpose, and must not be treated as proof of identity, citizenship, age, authorization, ownership, qualification, or any other legal status.

3. Prohibited and illegal use

You may not use, attempt to use, distribute, sell, or help another person use the Service or generated content to:

• break any applicable law, regulation, court order, or sanction;
• commit or facilitate fraud, identity theft, impersonation, forgery, deception, or misrepresentation;
• create or present a document, image, or file as an authentic government-issued, financial, professional, immigration, travel, identity, or authorization document;
• bypass verification, know-your-customer, age, access-control, anti-fraud, or security procedures;
• infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
• harass, threaten, exploit, defame, or unlawfully target another person;
• create sexual or exploitative content involving minors, or any content that facilitates abuse or trafficking;
• distribute malware, spam, scams, or material intended to compromise systems or accounts; or
• resell, automate, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service without written permission.

You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and anything you create, download, publish, share, or submit using it.

4. Your legal responsibility

You must independently determine whether your intended use is lawful in every relevant jurisdiction. Laws differ by location and may regulate identity documents, personal data, biometric information, impersonation, fraud, copyright, consumer protection, and other uses of generated content.

We do not approve, authorize, certify, or take responsibility for your use of generated content. You must obtain all permissions and consents required to upload or process images, names, personal information, trademarks, or other material.

5. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private and for all activity under your account. Do not share credentials or allow another person to use your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.

We may require verification, limit usage, suspend generation, or refuse access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, the public, or third parties.

6. User content and generated files

You retain responsibility for the content you upload and the instructions you provide. You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary for us to process that material.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to process submitted material only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service. Do not upload sensitive personal information unless you are authorized to do so and its processing is lawful.

You understand that generated results may not be unique, accurate, complete, available forever, or recoverable. Keep your own copies of anything you need.

7. Payments and refunds

Some downloads or features require payment. Prices are shown before purchase. You authorize the applicable charge when you complete a purchase or payment process.

Because generated files are digital content made available for download, payments are generally final and no refunds are issued, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where we determine, in our sole discretion, that an exceptional case warrants one. We do not provide refunds for dissatisfaction with a lawful result, misuse, failure to read these Terms, change of mind, or failure to save a file after it was made available.

Nothing in this section limits non-waivable consumer rights. If a payment was duplicated, unauthorized, or charged but the purchased file was not made available because of a verified Service failure, contact us through the contact method published on the website with the transaction details.

8. Availability and disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, continuous storage, error-free operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or that generated content will satisfy a government, employer, platform, bank, or other third party.

We are not responsible for decisions made by third parties based on your content or for your failure to comply with laws, policies, verification requirements, or contractual obligations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verif Tools and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, loss of access, reputational harm, or claims arising from your use or misuse of the Service or generated content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the event giving rise to liability.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service, law, or business practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

11. General terms

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with any clearly identified purchase terms shown at checkout, form the agreement between you and Verif Tools regarding the Service.

These Terms are subject to applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections and other rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
